Disappointing

I've been in Birmingham, AL for a year and this is the first Japanese Sushi restaurant that I've been to. Sushi is my favorite food so while my husband and son ordered teriyaki chicken and rice, I chose from the sushi menu. Their meal looked pretty good with large chunks of chicken and a good portion of white rice and vegetables but the miso soup didn't taste authentic. I was very disappointed when my sushi arrived. I ordered the rolls and the sizes were very small. The cucumber and avocado weren't fresh and looked old. The fish smelled fishy. Sushi eaters know that fresh fish should not smell. Even more disappointing was the FAKE crab meat that they used for the California Rolls. For the prices they charge, sushi is not worth ordering. The only thing they have going for them is the atmosphere and the service.

My family and I love to eat there, they treat you like you are someone. One of the best tasting restuarnt in WORLD !!!!!!!!!!

Stix restaurant has a wide slecetion of foodI love the look and feel of the place as well as the prices I went here the first time for a co workers birthday and have come back for myself as often as I can. great store it is large and needs to be for all the merch. it has whatever your heart desires it has and then some. I recommend this place to everyone I meet give it a try you will like it too great prices and good quality.

I was able to enjoy my meal while sitting at the bar. The food quality was excellent! The only thing that I would change is the portion size of some of the dishes. Therefore the value wasn't the best I have had at other Sushi restaurants.
