I had a pedicure by Nicki last week and loved it! The chair was very comfortable and Nicki did a great job. The entire spa experience was relaxing and I felt very welcome. I will definately return soon!!

I went to this spa/salon for a while until the original owner left. I thought I would give the new owners a shot and called for an appointment. They suggested I go with Ben because my previous stylist, Ann, was no longer there. I cannot believe the color I got. Ben took A LONG time with me but I could tell he was an expert. He explained he was a trainer (or teacher) for this color line and he was SO nice. He took his time with me and I cannot belive how my hair looks! It's NEVER looked better. This salon/spa has changed! They have the best staff in Bham. Next time, I am going for a whole day at their spa, and may even get their plastic surgeon (who I heard was really good) to do Botox. I highly, highly recommend this place. They are special - from the front desk, to the staff, to the shampoo girl to the environment - this is the best spa in Bham. Ben - I am yours forever!!!!!!! For Valentine's Day, my fiance gave me a gift card to Gates of Pearl. I spent almost an entire day getting pampered with a massage, manicure, pedicure and facial. The entire staff was courteous, professional and prompt. I was greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. It was a fabulous experience and I certainly hope my fiance gives me the same gift card for EVERY occasion! Hint, hint honey!!!! I'm am planning on booking my entire bridal party in June which I hope will alleviate any pre-wedding jitters!!!! I can't wait to go back to Gates of Pearl! They are wonderful. Amanda S.

My husband bought me a gift card to this spa. I was really nervous at first, but everyone made me feel so at home. The owner (Lori, I think) constantly checked on me to make sure I was having a good time. The pedicure and manicure was amazing! A woman from Russia, Mila, I think, made me feel like I was going to fall asleep! I had a massage that was unbelievable! Then I got my hair done by Ben. I've never had my hair look this good! I will be back and will tell ALL my friends!!!!! I highly recommend this place. It's the best in Birmingham!!!!! They know what excellent customer service is ALL about!

It was my first visit and admittedly, I was very nervous. Not being a "spa" type person, but needing a "makeover", I decided to take the plunge and give it a try. The new hairdo was fantastic; the pedicure so relaxing I fell asleep, and the eyebrow waxing - well, I can endure a little pain for such a big gain!!! Will I be back? Oh, yeah. Everyone there made me feel so welcome and at ease. Thanks to all of you.
